Sponsorship Opportunities

In this respect, SciDataCon 2014 is a unique event and attractive for sponsors who are themselves exploring innovations in the management, analysis, visualisation and presentation of data in scientific work.
 
SciDataCon 2014 takes place on 2–5 November 2014, in New Delhi, and is organised by the Committee on Data for Science and Technology (CODATA) and the World Data System (WDS), both interdisciplinary committees of the International Council for Science (ICSU), in partnership with the Indian National Science Academy.  Drawing on a diverse research and policy community it should attract around 500 participants.
The organisers of SciDataCon 2014 seek sponsorship for two specific reasons: to help cover the travel and associated costs of keynote speakers and to support participation of early career researchers from developing countries.
 
The following sponsorship packages are available for international sponsors:
 

Bronze

1 000 euros

One complimentary registration; logo on website and conference printed material

Silver

2 000 euros

One complimentary registration; banners in the conference venue; logo on website and conference printed material; stand; clear statement on the programme that the participation of 1 keynote or participant was kindly supported by the sponsor.

Gold

4 000 euros

Two complimentary registrations; banners in the conference venue; logo on website and conference printed material; publicity in conference bags; stand; clear statement on the programme that the participation of 2 keynotes or participants was kindly supported by the sponsor.

Platinum

8 000+ euros

Up to four complimentary registrations; banners in the conference venue and plenary stage; logo on website and conference printed material; publicity in conference bags; stand; clear statement on the programme materials that the participation of 4–5 early career researchers from developing countries was kindly supported by the sponsor and that early career researcher activities were supported in this way.
