About the Workshop

The CODATA ECDP Working Group would like to invite early career / senior scientists and data professionals to participate in this CODATA Hackathon / Datathon. Discussions will centre around the research issues pertaining to CODATA Task Group datasets, as well as their re-use. However, BYOD (Bring Your Own Data) is encouraged in this community event. Preliminary information will be provided on by late October. Following brief introductory sharings and an introduction to the various datasets, participants will be grouped according to the datasets in which they are interested. After approximately one hour of discussion (facilitated as necessary with appropriate tools), these groups will share their discoveries online and continue the dialogue.
